Challenge
A long-format display concept for a smart countertop steam convection oven, placing cooking modes, temperature settings and remaining time on one horizontal interface.
A countertop steam oven has a narrow upper fascia above its door. The display must fit this space while keeping mode selection and temperature/time settings distinct. Heat from the cooking cavity and steam near the door create integration constraints that must be addressed at appliance level.

02 / Solution
Solution
The 90-10301-BS6 provides a 10.3-inch display with a native 720×1600 pixel matrix. For the proposed oven fascia, the host rotates the interface to a 1600×720 landscape layout. Cooking modes occupy the upper strip; temperature and remaining time use larger fields below. Two physical rotary push controls are a host design proposal, because touch operation is not specified for this module.
Proposed Interface
| Mode strip | Steam, convection and combined-mode icons |
| Primary values | Set temperature and remaining time |
| Input | Two host-managed rotary push controls |
| Data source | Appliance controller; LCD renders host content |
Optical Performance
The specification lists 1000:1 typical contrast and 85° typical viewing angles in all four directions at CR≥10. These values provide a starting point for reviewing icons and numerals from a standing position. The drawing lists 800 cd/m² typical luminance; finished-product readability still requires evaluation with the intended cover, reflections and ambient lighting.
Integration
The four-lane MIPI interface, FL7707N driver and startup sequence must match the host. Review the 3.3 V typical VDD supply separately from the drawing/pin-defined 1.8 V VDDIO logic and the independent LED driver. Mount the module outside the cooking cavity, with thermal isolation and a steam path that avoids the display assembly. The −30°C to +80°C module rating is not an oven-chamber temperature rating.

03 / Development Outcome
Development Outcome
This application concept defines a long-format display architecture for a countertop steam oven. The next development step is a prototype review of rotated UI output, startup behavior, surface temperature and condensation exposure. No customer production outcome or completed appliance test is claimed.
Displaysell supplies display integration, not the complete appliance. This is a specification-based application concept.
