Challenge
A landscape display concept for a domestic automatic bean-to-cup coffee machine, organizing drink choices, recipe settings and preparation status on a dedicated front panel.
A bean-to-cup coffee machine needs to present drink options and adjustable settings without crowding the front panel. The display also sits near a water system, a grinder and warm internal components. Optical performance, power and enclosure protection therefore need to be reviewed together.

02 / Solution
Solution
The ZC-070035-1001 offers a 7-inch native 1024×600 landscape canvas. The proposed interface uses drink cards for espresso, milk coffee and black coffee, followed by a settings screen for host-controlled strength and volume. Four physical navigation buttons and a rotary control belong to the appliance concept; the specification does not establish a touchscreen configuration.
Proposed Interface
| Drink menu | Espresso, milk coffee, black coffee |
| Recipe | Host-controlled strength and volume |
| Status | Preparation, cleaning and refill prompts from host |
| Input | Four physical buttons and rotary control |
Optical Performance
The optical table specifies 1000:1 typical contrast, with typical viewing angles of 80° up, down and left and 85° right at CR≥10. Backlight luminance is current-dependent: the table lists 1000 cd/m² typical at 360 mA and 1300 cd/m² typical at 450 mA. Select the drive condition with the host power and thermal budget, then verify the completed display assembly.
Integration
The LVDS host connection and JD9165 driver require confirmation against the supplied timing and pin definition. A 3.3 V typical VDD supply does not describe the entire power system: bias rails and the independent backlight driver also need review. Place the display away from direct steam paths and check condensation, cleaning exposure, cable routing and mechanical support on the prototype.

03 / Development Outcome
Development Outcome
The concept establishes a 7-inch display configuration for a specific smart-home appliance: an automatic coffee machine. Prototype verification should cover drink-menu legibility, host output, power-up behavior and enclosure conditions. Beverage preparation and water/temperature control remain functions of the appliance electronics.
Displaysell supplies display integration, not the complete appliance. This is a specification-based application concept.
